Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, September 6, reveals that Sarah Kiriakis told Xander Kiriakis and Fiona Cook that she recalled the accident, but couldn’t recognize the person driving due to a glare and her blurred vision.
Xander hoped that if Sarah kept trying, she might eventually identify Brady Black, but Fiona insisted that Sarah needed to rest.
While Xander went downstairs to get some soup for Sarah, Fiona sang “Hush, Little Baby” and gently stroked Sarah’s hair as she fell asleep.
Fiona then asked for forgiveness for what she was about to do and picked up a pillow to harm Sarah, clearly not wanting to risk any more memories coming back.
Meanwhile, Maggie Kiriakis considered the possibility that Brady wasn’t responsible since he couldn’t remember anything about the accident.
Maggie urged Justin Kiriakis to assist Brady, who stood firm with John Black at the station.
Brady felt obligated to take responsibility and plead guilty, even if it meant facing serious consequences.
Outside the room, Eric Brady confronted EJ DiMera, refusing to let the DA pursue Brady unfairly.
EJ countered that it wasn’t unfair if Brady admitted to it, and pointed out Eric’s own past mistakes.
Inside the room, Brady was moved by Eric’s visit and embraced him.
However, Brady hoped Eric wasn’t there to discourage him from taking responsibility.
Eric reassured Brady that he understood, having faced a similar situation with Daniel.
Eric also planned to tell Holly the truth about his involvement in her father’s fate before she heard it from someone else.
After Eric left, Justin gave Brady some legal updates.
EJ arrived, announcing that Brady was free to go and urged him to leave before he changed his mind.
Nonetheless, EJ intended to pursue Brady as soon as he had stronger evidence to ensure a conviction.
In the park, Tate Black admitted to Holly that Eric was the person responsible for Daniel’s accident.
Tate had overheard this family secret when he was younger and assumed Holly already knew.
Holly initially struggled to believe Tate, but he convinced her that he was telling the truth and wouldn’t lie about something so important.
Holly was devastated by the news and angry at Nicole Walker for protecting Daniel’s killer.
Wanting to be alone, Holly lashed out at Tate, telling him to leave. Tate later confessed to John that he had revealed something he shouldn’t have to Holly.
