It’s puzzling how Eric and Nicole thought they could keep Holly in the dark about Eric being responsible for her father’s death in a drunk driving incident, especially since other family members—and most of Salem—were already aware.
Surprisingly, Holly hadn’t heard about it until Tate let it slip. Tate regrets it while talking to John, as Holly confronts her ex-stepfather, demanding an explanation.
Given her previous anger when Tate made excuses for Brady, it’s doubtful she’ll accept Eric’s reasoning either.
