On the September 6 episode of Days of Our Lives, Sarah revealed that she was beginning to remember being hit by a hit-and-run driver, leading Fiona to make a terrible choice that could expose her as the culprit.
Meanwhile, Brady managed to escape EJ’s grasp.
Red Rover, Red Rover, It’s Over for Fiona
Xander tried to help Sarah remember what happened on the night of the accident that left her paralyzed.
Sarah recalled seeing the car heading towards her but couldn’t clearly identify the driver’s face, though she was convinced it wasn’t Brady.
Fiona asked Xander to get Sarah some food, but her focus was far from her daughter-in-law’s well-being.
Once Sarah fell asleep, Fiona shockingly attempted to smother her with a pillow!
If Fiona had succeeded in killing Sarah, she could have easily claimed ignorance of how Sarah died.
However, with no reports suggesting Sarah’s departure from the show, it’s likely Fiona fails.
EJ’s Lost Again
EJ and Brady have had a tumultuous history. EJ has committed various wrongdoings against Brady’s family, including having Brady beaten up in 2009.
In retaliation, Brady assaulted EJ in 2011, with Salem’s residents helping cover it up.
Recently, EJ, leveraging his position, aimed to prosecute Brady for the accident.
However, Justin convinced him to drop the charges due to Brady’s fragmented memory and his missing car.
Though Brady was released, EJ was displeased. Despite Brady’s guilt over the incident, most believe he wouldn’t have hit Sarah and fled. Even John suspects there’s more to the story.
If Fiona is revealed as the real driver, Brady will be relieved, though he might be saddened by the potential fallout with Fiona.
