Days of Our Lives Recap for Tuesday, September 10
Melinda Trask struggled with her restraints while being held captive by Connie Viniski.
Connie brought Melinda breakfast and briefly removed her gag, but their interaction was interrupted by a call.
Stephanie Johnson, who had obtained Connie’s number from Gabi Hernandez DiMera, called to invite Connie to Everett Lynch’s memorial service.
Connie pretended not to know Everett or Bobby and quickly ended the call.
Connie considered killing Melinda, but Melinda persuaded her that doing so would go against Li Shin’s wishes.
Deciding to spare her for now, Connie left for the office, taking the knife from the breakfast tray with her.
Connie mentioned she might need to use it on Leo Stark if he continued to talk too much.
At the DiMera mansion, Stefan DiMera lashed out at EJ DiMera and stormed off after throwing something at him.
Johnny DiMera noticed the tension and confronted EJ, who admitted to sleeping with Gabi.
EJ justified his actions by pointing out that Stefan wasn’t innocent either, as he had been with Ava Vitali while Gabi was in prison.
Johnny was furious, accusing EJ of being motivated by his own pain over losing Nicole Walker. Later, EJ received his final divorce decree.
At the hospital, Paulina Price offered to stay with Rafe Hernandez while Jada Hunter attended Everett’s memorial service with Stephanie.
After Jada left, Gabi arrived and made some remarks about Paulina hiring EJ as the DA, but eventually apologized.
Gabi convinced Paulina to stay with Rafe while she went to the office. Alone with Rafe, Paulina ordered him to wake up, and to her surprise, he opened his eyes.
In the park, Stephanie explained Connie’s odd behavior to Jada, noting how Connie had denied knowing Everett or Bobby despite them being in the news.
After scattering Everett’s ashes, Stephanie tearfully said goodbye to him.
Elsewhere, Gabi encountered Ava, who encouraged her to give Stefan another chance.
Gabi claimed Stefan was no longer interested, prompting Ava to question Stefan later in the town square.
Stefan explained that Gabi had betrayed him with EJ, just as Jada arrived. Ava directed Jada to Li’s old apartment as a lead to find Connie and mentioned Melinda’s fraud discovery.
Outside Connie’s place, Jada arrived hoping to speak with her, while Melinda remained bound and gagged inside.
Meanwhile, in Gabi’s office, Gabi confided in Connie about her affair with EJ, hinting she might do it again.
