Melinda has been held captive at Connie’s place for an undetermined amount of time—time in Salem is always a bit of a mystery.
Despite her situation, she remains hopeful, thinking that eventually, someone will notice her absence and come looking for her.
Surely, someone must care about her, right? But what if the most painful outcome of Melinda’s kidnapping is realizing that she’s not important enough for anyone to notice she’s missing?

Connie is confident she has Melinda right where she wants her, but her main concern now is Gabi.
Connie purposely told Gabi about Stefan’s affair with Ava to throw her off balance, and it worked.
Gabi was upset, which led her to sleep with EJ, angering Stefan in the process.
Gabi’s happiness in this situation irritates Connie, who neither likes nor understands it.
And when Connie doesn’t like or understand something, she tends to take action—and it’s never something good.

We know that Fauxbigail isn’t Chad’s late wife, but Chad doesn’t.
He’s convinced that with the right encouragement, the right words, and the perfect setting, Fauxbigail will remember their life together, their children, and most importantly, her love for him.
So, he keeps pushing, while Fauxbigail keeps lying. Eventually, one of them will have to give in.
