Days of Our Lives Spoilers Recap for Friday, September 13
Kristen DiMera told Brady Black about EJ DiMera’s attempt to bluff his way into making a deal with her.
Brady urged Kristen to go back to EJ and confess since he was still determined to face prosecution.
However, Kristen pushed Brady to avoid prison for the sake of Tate and Rachel.
She also suggested revisiting their custody arrangement, emphasizing that Rachel needed her father.
Kristen’s actions were partly influenced by EJ’s accusation that she wanted to rekindle her relationship with Brady.
Meanwhile, at the Salem PD, EJ expressed doubts about Holly Jonas finding evidence against Brady, but he was open to any information she might offer.
EJ questioned Holly’s motive for wanting to make Brady pay, leading her to confess that she had discovered Eric Brady’s role in Daniel Jonas’ accident.
EJ admitted he had advised Nicole Walker to tell Holly sooner, but Nicole hadn’t listened.
Holly learned about EJ’s finalized divorce papers and felt sympathy for him, as they both recognized that Eric would always be Nicole’s priority.
EJ apologized for the impact of Jude Brady’s paternity secret on Holly, which she appreciated, and they shared a hug.
At school, Sophia Choi overheard Tate discussing Holly’s outburst with Eric.
After hearing about all the drama, Sophia comforted Tate and played up her sympathy for “poor Holly.” She assured Tate that she was there for him and gave him a hug.
In Marlena Evans’ office, Sarah Kiriakis didn’t see Brady during hypnosis, but she seemed to have a breakthrough.
She hinted at recognizing someone but claimed it was a close call when she later interrupted Xander and Fiona Cook. Sarah’s demeanor made it unclear if she was hiding a memory of Fiona driving the car.
Sarah declined Fiona’s offer to accompany her to the bathroom and later napped alone at the Kiriakis mansion.
Fiona noticed that a bat was missing from the party aftermath, which featured a piñata for Victoria Kiriakis.
Concerned about Xander’s sudden departure to handle “business,” Fiona grew anxious.
At Basic Black, Xander showed up with plans to attack Brady, threatening to use him as a human piñata.
Fiona rushed in to stop him, arguing that she was trying to keep him out of prison for Sarah and Victoria’s sake. Xander, still angry, lifted his bat again, but Fiona halted him with a confession.
While Sarah and Eric bonded at the Kiriakis mansion, Kristen visited Marlena’s office with an invitation.
Since Rachel wanted her grandparents at Grandparents Day, Marlena agreed to attend with John Black.
Marlena also heard about Kristen’s willingness to alter the custody agreement and grew suspicious.
Kristen admitted she had given up trying to get over Brady, suggesting that perhaps it had just taken him this long to realize they were meant to be.
