According to The Young and the Restless, Audra and Kyle only plan to collaborate temporarily, each believing they can outmaneuver the other at Glissade.

Victor, however, expects them to act in the best interest of his newly acquired company. While Audra has fulfilled her part by driving Tucker out, Kyle’s role is still unfolding.

Jack is Victor’s goal. The Newman-Abbott animosity has resurfaced because Jack is allegedly endangering Nikki’s life. Victor’s evaluation is based on his dislike of Jack and Billy.

War between Victor and Jack

Jack had an epiphany as Marco’s (Bergman in a dual role) tale came to a close. He opted not to protect Phyllis’ (then-Gina) reputation and instead let Victor’s awful doppelganger plan go.

Victor and Jack’s passion subsided dramatically throughout the years that followed. Jack decided it wasn’t worth continuing his argument with Victor.

That was somewhat pragmatic and a signal to the audience that Bergman’s character was taking a new route.

As time passed, Victor grew to feel that Jack’s decision to purchase and consume illicit substances may have resulted in Nikki’s death.

Victor was right to be concerned, but reigniting the battle with Jack was a huge overreaction. While Audra’s primary goal has been met, Victor keeps her on the payroll.

He enjoys her competitive nature. But Victor also needs Audra to balance Kyle. He encourages them to collaborate while feeling that their intense antagonism provides beneficial tension.

Kyle and Audra

Audra believes she is smarter than Kyle, and she is probably accurate. She may be underestimating him because she believes his privileged upbringing makes him less shrewd than herself.

Kyle’s weaknesses include the extremely emotional fight he’s started with his parents. Victor joyfully takes advantage of this, intending to use Kyle to finally sink Jabot.

Harrison’s custody dispute looks to be diminishing. But it might happen at any time. But even if it doesn’t, Kyle is distracted by another personal concern.

His blossoming closeness with Claire contrasts with his self-inflicted troubles with his parents. So it’s a good diversion, one he enjoys with Audra.

She just informed Nate, her love interest, that Victor is Glissade’s silent backer. Victor likes Kyle, who was formerly his replacement father figure.

Kyle’s assumption that he can control the Moustache is misplaced, and his tenure at Glissade might be brief.
