Leo Reveals Connie Knew Everett
Everett and Connie had a tumultuous and toxic relationship.
Everett, who had DID, often assumed the persona of “Bobby Stein,” who knew Connie was guilty of murdering Li Shin because he witnessed her shortly after the crime.
Connie made a deal with Everett to keep his silence by promising to “handle” Rafe Hernandez, allowing Everett to rekindle his relationship with Jada Hunter.
However, Connie’s method of dealing with Rafe was far more literal—she stabbed him in the back, putting him in a coma.
Worried that Everett might expose her, Connie poisoned him and staged his death as a suicide, while also framing him for Rafe’s stabbing.
This wasn’t Connie’s first time framing someone innocent. She had previously framed Gabi DiMera for Li’s murder, resulting in Gabi’s imprisonment.
Currently, Connie, who frequently converses with a cardboard cutout of Li, has set her sights on another unsuspecting target.
Stephanie, uncertain about how to honor Everett’s memory due to his lack of family, tried to gather anyone who might care about him for a funeral.
Following Leo’s suggestion, Stephanie reached out to Connie, but Connie denied knowing Everett and implied that Leo was mistaken.
With a familiar glimmer in her eye, Connie now views Leo as a “problem.”
Connie Wants Revenge On Gabi
Connie is determined to keep her connection to Everett a secret.
Despite her scheming, Connie’s true goal is to make Gabi and Melinda Trask suffer.
She currently has Melinda tied up in a room at her house, but hasn’t killed her yet, fearing it would disappoint her “Li,” the cardboard cutout.
Connie’s ultimate plan is to destroy Gabi’s marriage to Stefan DiMera.
First, she told Gabi that Stefan cheated on her with Ava Vitali. Then, she suggested Gabi sleep with EJ DiMera to get back at Stefan.
When Gabi arrived at work cheerful, it drove Connie mad.
Connie pulled a knife from her purse, intending to kill Gabi.
However, Gabi was spared when she received a call that Rafe had awakened from his coma. Elated, Gabi rushed to the hospital to see her brother.
Connie was furious at losing her chance to kill Gabi and became even more determined.
With Leo and Gabi on Connie’s hit list, the question remains: how long can they avoid her wrath? Hopefully, Connie’s days are numbered.
