Elsewhere in Salem, Kristen DiMera is on a mission of her own. She’ll once again approach Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to warn him about “Abigail DiMera”.
Kristen is convinced that this woman isn’t the real Abigail and will try to persuade Chad to investigate further.
Even though Chad might stand by the DNA test results and defend his supposed wife, Kristen remains firm in her belief that he’s being deceived.
On the prison front, Clyde Weston will have an eventful day as he receives multiple visitors.
First, Steve Johnson shows up to interrogate Clyde about “Abigail,” but he’s unlikely to get any truthful answers from the manipulative inmate.
Later, Dr. Mark Greene arrives after being summoned by Clyde. During their meeting, Clyde will remind Mark of the plan: getting “Abigail” to marry Chad is the ultimate goal, and Clyde expects it to happen swiftly.
It’s becoming clear that Clyde holds some dangerous leverage over Mark and “Abigail,” possibly involving the survival of their parents from the car accident.
Clyde might be holding Aaron Greene and Felicity Greene hostage to ensure compliance, with the constant threat of eliminating them if Mark and “Abigail” don’t follow his orders.
As the pressure mounts, “Abigail” will feel torn between her lingering feelings for Chad and the obligation to move forward with Clyde’s plan.
This emotional conflict could complicate her path to the altar and raise questions during Mark’s intense interrogation.
At the same time, Steve will remain a thorn in the side of “Abigail” and Mark, pursuing his own investigation into their suspicious behavior.
The two will have to work hard to keep Steve from uncovering the truth, but how long can they keep up the charade?
