Sharon is shown to be emotionally unstable in The Young and the Restless. Nick is aware of the situation and is trying to prevent further complications.
Cameron had been a constant mental burden for Sharon over the years.
The storyline eventually led to an intense conclusion when Sharon took decisive action against Cameron, using the knife Nick had given him.
However, because it is sunlight, Cameron has risen from the dead to live anew. His ghoulish presence, including the visible bloodstain where Sharon stabbed Cameron to death, is unsettling.
But what lingering memories of him could push her to do is much more terrifying. Let’s take this to a terrible conclusion. Sharon murders Daniel in retribution for the unintentional death of her daughter, Cassie.
Sharon’s Dark Turn
That conclusion removes Graziadei from the cast and imprisons Sharon. In the real world, she may be sentenced to a mental hospital with the possibility of being released after a year or two of rehabilitation.
The above is feasible, but it does not seem realistic. Reaching such a conclusion would intensify Cassie’s terrible ending.
That plotline, more than any other in the soap opera’s storied history, elicited an outpouring of emotion from devoted viewers. Several candidates might potentially save Daniel if he has to be saved and is.
Nick, Lucy, Faith, Phyllis, and Heather are all good options. However, Mariah may tick all of the boxes.
Why not have Cassie’s previously unknown twin intercede ahead of time, or stand between Sharon and Daniel at the crucial moment?
Will Daniel Pay the Ultimate Price?
Sharon has been pursued through her nightmares by unsettling recollections of Cassie’s death. It would be fitting if her twin sister, Mariah, could avoid another unnecessary tragedy.
Sharon looked to be on firm footing. She became a registered therapist, exhibiting a thorough understanding of her background and the capacity to communicate therapeutic techniques to her patients.
But she admitted to never having properly mourned Rey’s death. That statement coincided with the recurrence of her bipolar disease, which was triggered by intentionally discontinuing her medication.
The development of self-control, particularly in this momentum setting, would result in a tremendous climax. There is still a lot of narrative to play out, and the crescendo accompaniment can be dimly heard.
Sharon herself may prevent Sharon from committing a vengeance crime against Daniel.
