The Young and the Restless portrays Sharon in a precarious mental state, haunted by Cameron.

Sharon is descending into dangerous territory in The Young and the Restless, and things are poised to take a dark twist.

With Cameron’s voice haunting her mind, despite his death nearly a year ago, Sharon finds herself on the edge of making a grave mistake.

As the pressure mounts, Cameron’s sinister influence grows stronger, urging Sharon to commit an unspeakable act against Daniel Jr.

Can Nick Save Sharon from a Deadly Mistake?

Kirsten had been dead for about a year, but he has just reappeared and been speaking with Sharon.

He is attempting to persuade her to murder Daniel Jr., and tragically, it appears to be working.

Sharon has had her fair share of mental health challenges in the past (as have practically all of the characters on the program), but chatting to hyper-realistic hallucinations of a deceased person is next level.

Based on what we’ve seen, we know Sharon is about to do something she’ll regret, as we see her shaking and sobbing.

We’ve intimated that it may be merely a terrible dream. Something she imagines while sleeping in the hotel room, and she doesn’t intend to damage anyone.

However, if this is true, she may have injured someone. But it is not Daniel.

Poison or Redemption

While Kirsten has made it plain that Daniel deserves to die for the crash that killed Sharon’s daughter Cassie, we believe Sharon will take a different path.

And her sobbing is a result of what she has done to herself. What if Sharon determines that the only way to silence the wretched voice in her brain is to consume the poison herself?

She doesn’t want to injure anyone, but she knows that if she remains in the hotel room and listens to Kirsten, she will. This would explain why she’s unhappy.

We don’t believe Sharon will commit a murder, and a long, drawn-out recovery after attempting to poison herself may create a better plot.

This would allow Nick to stay by her side during her recovery, maybe resuming their love story for the 18th time.

What are your thoughts? Will Sharon really try to injure Daniel, or will she end up injuring herself? Will Nick show up and rescue the day?
