Tuesday October 1, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Billy informs Jack that Victor is after him, Claire reassures Kyle that she didn’t fall from a coconut tree, and Victor is frustrated that Victoria went behind his back.

Monday’s recap: Sharon deceives her family and sends Daniel a text from Heather’s phone while Cameron pressures her to continue her viole.nt actions.

Audra and Nate are enjoying coffee at the GCAC, and he mentions that they’re still reveling in the aftereffects of their escapade.


CBS

He boasts that he can recognize chemistry when he sees it. She tells him he needs to leave so she can meet Bob Elton for a pitch.

They discuss shelf space and advertising lines. She needs to concentrate on work, but he makes that challenging.


CBS

Elton has been dealing with Kyle but she needs to woo him over to her so she can make Kyle look useless to Victor.

She complains about him tattling to Victor and trying to edge her out.

Kyle shows up and announces he just had a meeting with Bob Elton.


CBS

Claire watches from a distance as Nate nearly gets up to fight Kyle, Audra tells him it’s not necessary.


CBS

Nate walks off and suggest Claire stay back as Audra and Kyle sort out their business.

They sit at the bar. She admits she hasn’t seen Kyle fighting like that. Nate tells her about how “next level” CEOs are in their desire for power.

She’s seen plenty of corporate manipulation and schemes. That’s why it all makes her uncomfortable. Vendettas rarely end well.


CBS

Audra and Kyle continue taunting each other. He’s already subverted her next plan to impress Victor by cancelling her order.

He reminds her that Bob was his contact and she went behind his back. He’s determined to do what it takes to get her out of Glissade.


CBS

She doesn’t think he can take on the woman who bested Tucker.


CBS

Claire and Nate return and Audra gloats that she’s looking unsettled by watching them.

Claire knows the gloves come off in the corporate arena. Audra says that Kyle doesn’t do anything with a gentle touch.

Kyle leads Claire away and Nate asks Audra what that was all about.

Nate tells her she’s better than this and she accuses him of urging her to back down because she’s a woman.


CBS

He doesn’t want to see her get hurt. Audra insists she’s worked twice as hard as any man and she’s sick of people trying to put her in her place.

Nate gets it but doesn’t think she needs to go about it this way.

“This is me. If you don’t like what you see, you can go,” she tells him.


CBS

He says he’s in her corner and not going anywhere.

He reminds her she’s had no problem playing with the big boys. She says if Kyle wants a fight, he’ll get one.


CBS

Nate apologizes for getting on his high horse with her. He doesn’t think she needs saving. She offers to save him some day.

Audra realizes she doesn’t have to do this alone. There’s someone who can help. She doesn’t explain and takes off.


CBS

When she leaves, he gets a text. “What the hell is this?” he asks himself. The text is from Amy Lewis, who needs to see him right away.

He texts back to ask who she is. She writes back that all will be clear when he sees her.


CBS

Kyle and Claire go down to the jazz club. He hopes he doesn’t think less of him by seeing him fight.


CBS

She reminds him she didn’t fall out of a coconut tree and grew up with her aunt.

She knows people are more than what they do for work. Even her grandpa has a soft side.

Claire just wonders if part of him wishes he didn’t have to be so aggressive.


CBS

He admits that he wishes things didn’t have to be so nasty. But some people have no problems sacrificing people to advance their careers.

Business can get ugly. He’s not proud of it but doesn’t see business getting done otherwise in this instance.

Claire has seen the other side of him, the one he shows to his son. He’s been like that with her too and she’s confident he can achieve all he wants and will avoid stooping to Audra’s level.

He thanks her for reminding him of the man he wants to be. “I want to know all of you,” she says.

Before they can leave, Audra corners them. Claire leaves them to it.

Audra tells Kyle that she has sold her idea to Bob Elton. Kyle is outraged and starts to huff.


CBS

Audra warns him that she will hit back any shot he takes. She’s not going anywhere.

Kyle declares he has no problem getting down in the dirt to fight her.

“That’s good because I’m going to bury you,” she says.


CBS

Jack runs into his brother when he gets home. Billy was having breakfast with Tracy and is eager to go.


CBS

Jack wants them to talk but Billy doesn’t want to heat any more advice from him.

His brother worries about his choice to hire Phyllis.

He’s worried that he’s moving away from the people who could help preserve Katherine’s legacy.


CBS

Billy thinks his brother is upset he’s still using the family name and reminds him he’s not the boss of him.

He adds that the word on the street is that Jack’s company is being taken over by his power hungry wife.

Jack thinks that he’s being blinded by his ego again.

Billy is sick of everyone thinking he will fail. He doesn’t need anyone’s help.


CBS

His brother wants to help him avoid mistakes and reminds him of what happened when he decided to sail on his own. He almost drowned.

Nothing seems to have changed. He’s constantly fighting away any help like it’s an attack on him.

Billy accuses him of never changing. He’s always trying to lecture him.


CBS

He insists that he believes in his vision and refuses to let anyone cast doubt on it. Not even Victor.

“What does Victor have to do with any of this?” Jack asks.


CBS

His brother explains that Victor has made his intentions clear. They argue about strategy and Billy is determined to knock Victor down.’

He claims he has Victoria on his side and she will protect his interests.

Jack worries about her putting herself in the crossfire and what all this could do to the kids.


CBS

He explains how bad things are with his own son and urges him to think about his children before making a move.

Jack has learned the hard way that your kids won’t always side with you and see Victor differently than they do.

When he suggests he lean on Chelsea, Billy says they are on a break right now.

Jack can’t stop worrying about him warns that Chancellor is like the Titanic. Billy assures him he sees Victor coming this time.


CBS

As Victor and his daughter eat at Society, he asks if she’s sure her loyalties are with Newman.


CBS

He knows she offered Billy a buy-out against his wishes. They bicker about him making an enemy out of the father of her children.

Her father wants to know where her loyalties really lie.

She thought that he thought her plan to avoid a fight with Billy was sound. She adds that Billy turned her down.


CBS

Her father assumes Billy thinks her move was weak and he will try to take advantage of this.

His attitude is making her reconsider being back at Newman.

He complains that Katherine would turn over in her grave if she knew what “that idiot” was doing to her company.


CBS

Victoria thinks he’s doing this more to hurt Billy than save the company or help Nikki.

They walk out and she appreciates him not losing it on her for going behind his back. He tells her never to let it happen again.

She admits Cole encouraged her to follow her instincts. He thinks Cole should have talked her out of this.


CBS

Victoria says she was just doing what she thought her dad would do. That makes him smile.

He reminds her that he is still taking Chancellor back and walks off.

She gets a text from Billy, asking to meet.


CBS

Victoria meets Billy at Crimson Lights. She hopes he’s agreed to accept her offer to buy him out.


CBS

He hasn’t. He wants them to sit down with the kids and explain how ugly things might get with Victor.

There’s no way they can hide it from them and he wants them to be prepared. She agrees.
