Thursday October 3, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Hope seeks a truce with Steffy, Brooke and Carter clear the air regarding Katie, and Ridge vows to be there for Taylor.
Wednesday’s Early B&B recap: Grace offers Taylor more tests, and after meeting some attractive models, Will unexpectedly agrees to become an intern.
In Grace’s office, Taylor expresses her gratitude to Ridge for encouraging her to see a cardiologist. She acknowledges that she would have gone regardless, but now she understands what she’s facing.

He assures her that Grace can develop a game plan and they will get through this together.
Grace enters and announces that it’s time to run the tests. They will receive some answers today.
CBS
Ridge tells Taylor he’ll be with her every step of the way. She smiles at him and leaves for the test.
He paces. Eventually, she comes back.
CBS
She feels like she’s wasted so much of her life. She’s noticed how short her time with him and the kids was.
No matter what the future holds for her, she wants him to be happy.
CBS
Grace returns with the test results and says the numbers are good. It doesn’t look like she has heart failure.
Taylor assumes something must be wrong. Grace says there’s a condition that mimics a heart attack and that’s brought on by stress and heartbreak.
CBS
“I believe you have broken heart syndrome,” she says.
CBS
In the design office, Carter and Brooke go over the latest numbers for her line. They are great.
CBS
She asks if he’s been buying any of it for the ladies. He admits he’s been dating around but Brooke’s Bedroom needs to be reserved for someone special.
She thought that someone special was her sister and asks where things stand with Katie.
CBS
He says they had a spark but haven’t been more than friends for awhile. They talk about whether Katie and Bill will get back together.
Both of them wish Katie well.
He tells her that he suggested that her line and Hope’s should be aligned. Smiling, he goes on about how special Hope is.

In the Forrester office, Hope and Steffy talk about how happy they are to have their moms around.
CBS
Steffy taunts that at least her mom is a positive influence.
Hope wanted them to bond but Steffy doesn’t see how that’s possible since they have nothing in common.
CBS
They agree to keep the peace and Hope apologizes again for pursuing Finn. Steffy stares at her.
Hope insists she’s sincere. Steffy wants to believe her but doesn’t.
Reminding her they are family, Hope suggests they set a good example for their kids. It’s time to leave them a better legacy.
CBS
Steffy nods.
Hope tells her she’s trying to be a batter person. Steffy is sure she’s about to seduce another man. She’s a Logan.
CBS
Carter walks in.
After Steffy talks off, Carter reminds Hope about his idea for her line. He suggests they have lunch and discuss it.
CBS
She agrees to that and smiles.
Katie arrives at Bill’s. He bluntly suggests they spend the rest of their lives together.
CBS
She reminds him he was living with another woman a few weeks ago. He declares that is over and the woman he wants to spend his life with is in front of him.
It means a lot to her that he wants to give them another try.
He wants to succeed. They have changed and can thrive together.
CBS
She reminds him that he left her for her sister more than once. It won’t work.
She’s sorry that Poppy isn’t the dream he thought she was. She refuses to be a stand-in for either of them and won’t go back to him.
CBS
He understands her feeling this way but this is a chance for their whole family.
She admits that if Will was younger and begging for them to be together, she might consider it. But he’s not.
Wiping away a tear, she says she’s sorry that she has to tell him this because she does love him.
Bill loves his Katie. She’s the love of his life.
CBS
“When Brooke is not available,” she reminds him.
She’s past all that and she’s fine. She likes things the way they are and will always want what’s best for him.
CBS
Katie walks out.
Alone, Bill stares at the mantle until Brooke shows up, to his surprise.
She reminds him they had a meeting. He asks to reschedule. She guesses something is wrong.
“It’s not happening for Katie and me,” he says, recapping his conversation with his sister.
