The heart-wrenching story of little puppy Chotu begins with a cruel act of abandonment. Left in a trash bin for 48 hours, Chotu’s chances of survival were slim. However, fate intervened when a compassionate boy heard his cries and rescued him.
When Chotu was brought to us, he was in severe pain and distress. The extent of his injuries was evident as he cried in agony. The first step was to conduct a blood test, but due to his extreme pain, we had to administer injections to help him sleep during the procedure.
As we examined Chotu more thoroughly, we discovered that he had sustained injuries to his jaw and spine, which were infected with pus and infested with Mangoworm. The situation was dire, and Chotu’s condition worsened as we attempted to remove the pus. He slipped into unconsciousness, which made it easier for us to clean his wounds. However, he continued to cry when he regained consciousness, as the pain persisted. To help alleviate his suffering, we provided him with painkillers to keep him comfortable.
Despite the challenges, we were determined to save Chotu’s life. Over the course of seven days, he received continuous medical treatment. With each passing day, Chotu’s condition improved, and he gradually regained his strength. Finally, after a month of dedicated care, Chotu was able to eat on his own, a significant milestone in his recovery.
Looking at Chotu now, it is hard to believe that he was once a helpless and abandoned puppy. His transformation is remarkable, a testament to the power of compassion and veterinary care. Chotu’s journey is a reminder of the resilience and strength of animals, and the impact that kindness and care can have on their lives.
As Chotu wagged his tail and played joyfully with his caregivers, it was clear that he had overcome immense adversity.
