Last week, Lien, one of our dedicated rescuers, stumbled upon a moving bag on her way home from the supermarket in Can Tho, Vietnam. Feeling like there was an animal inside, she opened it and found a heartbreaking sight – a little puppy had been abandoned in the bag.
Lien immediately brought the puppy, whom she named Bun, home with her. However, it soon became clear that Bun had an injury on her back leg. The following day, they took her to a veterinarian for treatment.
Despite the challenges, Bun remained brave and resilient throughout the treatment process. With the help of our rescuers and the vet, she slowly but surely recovered from her injury.
Thanks to the compassionate actions of Lien and our team, Bun has been given a second chance at life. She is now happy and healthy in her new forever home, where she is cherished and loved. This story serves as a reminder of the importance of animal welfare and the power of kindness and compassion towards all living beings.
