The veterinarians had to clean the dead tissue around the eye and treat it to prevent any further infection. The dog had suffered in silence, and no one knows how long he had been living in that terrible condition.
Despite his poor health, the little guy had a good appetite and drank water well. He barked, defecated, and urinated without any difficulty. The main focus now was to try and help him gain weight, which was a difficult task given his poor health.
