It was just another day in the car park when a stray dog gave birth to six adorable puppies. Despite her exhaustion, no one helped her. It wasn’t until a few days later that a kind person called to tell us about the puppies.

When we arrived, we were heartbroken to learn that one of the puppies was too weak and had passed away. We quickly took action and brought the remaining five puppies and their mother to the shelter. They were given plenty of food, water, and affection.

Despite our best efforts, the smallest puppy was too weak and passed away. We were devastated, but we were grateful that we were able to give her a comfortable and loving home in her final moments.

The mother dog, whom we named Daisy, was an exceptional parent. She was attentive and loving, constantly cleaning her pups and making sure they were warm and comfortable. The four remaining puppies, whom we named Aurora, Bear, Pirate, and Chocolate, were a lively bunch. They liked playing and exploring their surroundings, and they were all incredibly cute and lovable.

Unfortunately, our joy was short-lived when the vets diagnosed the puppies with leishmaniasis, a disease caused by a parasite that can be deadly if left untreated. We were heartbroken, but we knew that we had to act quickly to save their lives.

We started treatment immediately, and we were relieved to see that the puppies responded well. Leishmaniosis has no cure, but with treatment, the puppies can have a very happy life.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Aurora and Bear grew larger and stronger, but still, no one came to adopt them. We were puzzled as to why, as they were both such wonderful puppies.

We made a promise to them that we would find them loving families who promised to care for them and give them all the love and attention they deserved. It wasn’t easy, but finally, after months of waiting, Bear and Aurora found their new parents.

Their new families were overjoyed to have them, and we were overjoyed to see them finally find their forever homes. It was bittersweet to say goodbye to them, but we knew that they were going to be loved and cared for, and that was all that mattered.

Daisy, Pirate, and Chocolate were still waiting for someone to come and adopt them. We were determined to find them the perfect homes, and we knew that it was only a matter of time before they found their forever families. In the meantime, we would continue to love and care for them, just as we had done from the very beginning.
