It was a chilly winter night when we decided to check the dump area, hoping to find any abandoned animals in need of help. As we scanned the area with our flashlights, our hearts sank when we spotted a small puppy curled up under his larger brother’s body, shivering uncontrollably. The freezing temperatures had taken a toll on the tiny pup, and we knew we had to act fast.
