Hello everyone, today I want to share with you a very special story. It’s the story of Cookie, a little dog who suffers from a terrible neurodegenerative disease that prevents him from walking, running, and living a normal life. But despite his condition, Cookie is still happy and full of life.

At our refuge, Casa Grande, we are doing everything we can to ensure that Cookie has the best possible quality of life. Recently, our physiotherapist suggested that we try putting him in a specially adapted wheelchair to help him regain some control over his legs. We were unsure at first, but as you can see in the video, Cookie seems to love it.

However, the road ahead for Cookie is still very difficult. His disease is degenerative and will only get worse over time. But we are committed to doing everything we can to give him the best life possible for as long as possible.

This is where we need your help. Casa Grande and our rescue group are facing incredibly challenging times. Inflation is high, and we are losing donors at an alarming rate. The situation is becoming more and more precarious each day, and we desperately need your support.

We are not just trying to help Cookie, but also other animals like Alma and Electra, whom we rescued in terrible conditions. Without our intervention, these animals would not have had a chance at a better life.

It’s not just about the animals we have now, but also the ones we will rescue in the future. We are pleading with you to please consider donating and helping us continue our work. Every little bit counts, and it can make a huge difference.

We understand that times are tough for everyone, but we are asking you to make a small space in your priorities and help us continue to save lives. The holidays are coming up, and we know it’s a time for family and reflection, but we hope that you will also consider giving back to those in need.
