In Teleorman, Romania, one puppy’s life hung in the balance. Lying on the side of a road, Bruno was in agony and unable to move. He needed help desperately. Fortunately, a kind-hearted person stumbled upon him and knew they couldn’t leave him there. They scooped him up and rushed him to the hospital in Bucharest, where doctors confirmed that he had suffered a blow to the head.
Bruno’s condition was critical. He was unable to eat or even lift his head. The doctors did everything in their power to save his life, but after a week of fighting, he contracted parvo. The prognosis was bleak, and it seemed as if Bruno’s journey had come to an end. However, the young puppy was a fighter, and his spirit remained unbroken.
Despite all odds, Bruno miraculously pulled through. He was cured of the virus, but his recovery process was long and arduous. His caretakers had to work tirelessly to help him learn how to walk again and eat on his own. But with lots of patience and love, Bruno slowly started to regain his strength. After three months of hard work, Bruno was finally back on his paws.
