A heartwarming tale of rescuing and nurturing a weak puppy
It all started when we received a call about a very weak puppy in dire need of help. Without wasting any time, Natasha, one of our volunteers, rushed to check on him. Upon reaching the location, she found a severely dehydrated puppy who could barely move himself. It was evident that he had been abandoned and left to starve on the streets.
Without any hesitation, we immediately took him to the vet, where he received the necessary medicines and fluids. By God’s grace, he wasn’t diagnosed with parvo or distemper, which was a huge relief. However, he still needed to be on saline for a few days to regain his strength.
After 24 hours, we were delighted to see Sunny, as we named him, showing signs of improvement. Despite his weak state, his appetite was still good, and he could eat on his own. He started gaining weight, and soon he was able to walk again.
One of the most remarkable things about Sunny was his trust in us. We had to talk to him to calm him down, and in no time, he started following us like we were his mother. It was a beautiful and touching sight to see him slowly becoming more lively and joyful with each passing day.
We believe that it was destiny that brought Sunny into our lives, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to rescue and nurture him back to health. We could not have done it without the help of our volunteers, donors, and the medical team who gave their best to make sure that Sunny survived.
Sunny’s story is a reminder of how crucial it is to extend a helping hand to those in need. With patience, love, and care, we can change a life for the better. We hope that Sunny’s story inspires others to come forward and lend a hand to animals and individuals who need our help.
