A heart-wrenching incident was caught on CCTV when an owner abandoned their dog on the streets at night. The poor dog was left helpless and weak, unable to move from the spot. The first car that passed by ignored the animal, leaving it in a dire situation.
Two other people saw the dog and seemingly discussed something, but they took pictures and left the dog behind. Another person passed by, followed by yet another. The dog was left alone and abandoned in the middle of the street.
However, the next day, the dog was able to drag itself to the side of the road and was spotted by a local man. The kindhearted individual shared his blanket with the dog and called the police, and also shared the footage from his CCTV. The dog was elderly, diabetic, blind, and had a big tumor. Everyone thought it was impossible for her to survive.
The dog was taken to the vet, where it was revealed that she was severely dehydrated and malnourished. She was barely able to stand or eat. It was a miracle that she was still alive. After three days of treatment, the dog was able to stand up for food and play a little bit. It was heartening to see her gaining strength and slowly recovering.
Francesca, as the dog was named, was given insulin shots twice a day, along with vitamin supplements and specific food. Although she was still very skinny, she was on her way to recovery. It was unimaginable that someone could abandon a dog like this.
Francesca not only gained her physical health but also her mental health. She was in need of a forever home where she could be loved and taken care of. This incident reminds us of the importance of showing empathy towards animals and being responsible pet owners.
