Initially, the road to recovery was a rocky one. Fisto’s trachea was perforated, and he required intensive treatment and wound dressing to avoid surgery. But through sheer determination and the loving care of his caregivers, Fisto slowly began to regain his strength.
After three days of hospitalization, Fisto was already eating heartily and showing signs of his playful spirit. And after 15 days of intensive care, Fisto was able to return home with his caregiver. While he may still need surgery in the future, Fisto is now a healthy and happy dog, enjoying a spacious backyard and the company of two new friends.
Through it all, Fisto never lost his trust in people, showing love and affection to those who showed him kindness. And his resilience has inspired many, with people from all over the world coming together to financially support his care and eventual adoption.
