Unfortunately, Chad has been unable to put his feelings for his late wife Abigail Deveraux DiMera behind him.
Stephanie had been hoping that Chad would be ready to get married to her. However, Stephanie has been upset that Chad has been reluctant to get married.
In the end, Alex may believe that Everett needs to stay away from Stephanie and Chad. Alex may decide that he needs to keep Everett from trying to take Stephanie away from Chad.
