Monday September 16, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Hope is shocked by Steffy and Ridge’s news, while Katie devises a plan for Bill and Will to resolve their differences.
Friday’s Early B&B recap: Hope Faces the End of Her Rope After Telling Brooke She’s Reaching Her Breaking Point
At Forrester, Carter states that the bottom line is HFTF is underperforming. Ridge adds that they’ve given Hope a fair chance.
Hope questions whether Steffy is shutting down her line, and Ridge reassures her that it’s not personal. Finn then steps in and asks if he and his mom should leave.

They allow the duo to stay, and Steffy states that it’s her decision.
Steffy surprises Hope by saying she’s not shutting down her line. While it’s facing challenges and cutting it could relieve the financial burden, HFTF has been profitable in the past, and Hope has made a significant impact. Carter agrees, noting that in 10-15 years, younger women will desire couture.
They need to nurture this opportunity. Hope expresses her gratitude and assures them that she and her team won’t let them down. As Carter, Steffy, and Finn leave, Ridge tells his ex-wives that he didn’t see that coming. Brooke finds her decision mature, while Taylor gets defensive.

Brooke is concerned that if Steffy wanted to axe the line that Ridge would have backed her up. Ridge stares at Brooke and says nothing.

At Il Giardino, Liam toasts his little brother and he likes how protective he is of Katie.
Deacon pops in and introductions to Will are made. Deacon talks up how much the kid’s dad loves his piccata and says they keep a chair for his dad there. “Well, actually, it’s for his ego,” Deacon jokes.

Liam doesn’t think his dad hates Deacon as much as he lets on.
He tells Deacon he’s sorry for what Luna did to Tom and Hollis. Deacon can’t wrap his head around it.
The guys are lucky their father got off lightly. They agree and Liam says it’s because Katie was looking out for him. Deacon offers tiramisu but Liam wants to grab an espresso on his way out. Deacon’s glad they came. The restaurant isn’t the same without Tom and Hollis.

At Bill’s mansion, Bill thinks Katie seems happy. She’s very happy at this moment.
They grin at one another. He thanks her for being there for him. She always will, she says and agrees to call Will over to spend time together as a family.

Back at Il Giardino, Deacon offers tiramisu but Liam wants to grab an espresso on his way out. Deacon’s glad they came. The restaurant isn’t the same without Tom and Hollis. Katie texts Will to meet at Bill’s. Liam asks if he scratched Dad’s car.

Deacon says Bill practically makes the valet bubble wrap his car. Does he know how good he has it?
Not with the toys but with Katie. Liam hopes his dad is smart enough to know how great Katie is. Deacon thinks the jury’s still out on that.
He hopes Bill takes her back and never lets her go. He goes off to get Liam’s order.

Back at Bill’s, he and Katie banter. She knows he wants a special relationship with WIll but needs to rein it in. He has his own opinions about things. Bill thinks he’s like his beautiful mother in that respect.
Bill asks for her advice but she tells him they just need to reconnect.
He’s not the same kid they dropped off at boarding school. Bill wants to make up for lost time. She tells him to be charming.

“Be myself but definitely don’t be myself,” he jokes.
She repeats that their son has his own opinions and Bill lays it on thick about how beautiful and witty Katie is. She rolls her eyes. Will turns up.
They tell him they just wanted family time with him. He asks if they’re reuniting but they’re not.
Bill asks if that’d be so bad and Katie interjects that they just want to hang out, to tell him how happy they are that he’s back. They share a group hug.

Steffy finds Hope on a call with Zende with the good news in the design room. Hope disconnects and Steffy says Finn had to go back to work and she thought it was a good time for a talk. Hope talks about digging her way out of a rut and they’re excited about the next collection.

Hope admits that moralle’s been down since Thomas left and Luna murdered some guys.
She thanks Steffy again, and Steffy says she’d never make this personal as long as Hope does what she says. Hope asks if there’s a condition. There is. Steffy tells her not to turn into Brooke Logan. Steffy deserves respect as her superior, a wife and as a woman.
If she gets the slightest hint that she’s making a play for Finn, HFTF is done. Gone.
