Monday September 23, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke shares with Eric and Donna that she and Taylor are working on becoming friends.
Meanwhile, Li offers to refer Taylor to a cardiologist, and Steffy pleads with Ridge to convince her mom to stay.
Friday’s Early B&B recap: Taylor confides in Li that she’s dying, shortly after she and Brooke agree to give friendship a try.
At the cliff house, Li expresses her sorrow upon hearing that Taylor’s heart is failing. Taylor admits that she ignored her symptoms for some time, but eventually saw a doctor who confirmed that she has heart failure and is dying.

Taylor admits she hasn’t seen a cardiologist yet, prompting Li to offer to run some tests and provide referrals.
Grateful, Taylor thanks her but adds that time is running out.

Li sends her some contacts. She’s surprised when Taylor announces she is not telling her family about this.
No one can know this is happening to her. No one. Being near her family is all the support she needs.
Li still thinks they need to know but won’t say anything. Taylor refuses to burden the people she cares about.
Taylor refuses to be scared and needs to face death with as much strength and grace as she can muster.

At the Forrester office, Steffy urges Ridge to use his charm to convince her mom to stay in LA.

She keeps prodding and he agrees to try. His daughter doesn’t want them to be apart anymore.
All the memes that Taylor sends them aren’t enough. “A girl needs her mama,” she says.

He says he misses his mom every day. That never changes, no matter how old you get.
Steffy says her mom is the most supportive person she knows and she doesn’t know what she would do without her. Ridge is a close second.
She doesn’t want to waste another moment with her mom.

At Eric’s, Donna says she blames herself for bringing Luna into their lives as an intern. He and Brooke assure her she couldn’t have known.

They rehash Luna’s crimes and Brooke flashes back to agreeing to be friends with Taylor to secure peace between their daughter.
Donna snaps her sister out of her thoughts. Brooke explains she had an interesting conversation with Taylor.
“This time, we may truly become friends,” she announces.

Donna says stranger things have happened and reminds her she managed to be friends with Stephanie.
Eric wonders what’s brought this on so Brooke explains Taylor claims she’s back just to spend time with Steffy and her family, not win Ridge back.

Donna has her doubts about Taylor but Brooke thinks there’s something different about her. Besides, Brooke now feels confident of her place in Ridge’s heart.

She adds that she and Taylor both love their families and that should help them get along.
Donna asks if she’s moving back to LA. Brooke doesn’t know. Eric hopes she stays for Steffy’s sake.

Donna is sure she could use her mom and Eric thinks it would be good for all of them.
Brooke goes to teh Forrester office and kisses Ridge. He tells her about his busy day and how much Steffy wants her mom around.

Brooke adds that she and Taylor talked about Hope kissing Finn and how they just want peace in their families.
That’s why she asked if they can just be friends again. It will be different this time. Ridge would love it if they buried the hatchet.

He doesn’t want Steffy to lose her mother again.
Taylor paces at the cliff house, sadly looking at photos of the kids.

She wipes away tears as Steffy comes in, wondering what’s wrong and telling her she can tell her anything.
