Friday October 4, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke offers to speak to her sister on Bill’s behalf, Steffy and Liam discuss their mother’s return, and Ridge encourages Taylor to embrace the victory.
Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Grace reveals that Taylor has broken heart syndrome, Katie rejects Bill, and Carter asks Hope out.
In her office, Grace informs Taylor that the tests indicate she likely doesn’t have heart failure, but rather broken heart syndrome.

Taylor dismisses this as absurd, insisting that Grace is wrong—she’s wrong.
Taylor refuses to accept Grace’s suggestion that this is all in her head.

Grace says that she has a serious condition brought on by emotional stress that has impacted her heart and entire body.
The condition is often misdiagnosed. Taylor says that’s because its rarely true.
Grace runs through the symptoms and says it’s not fatal. “Fantastic!” says Ridge.
The cardiologist thinks that with therapy and caution, she could get better.

Taylor reminds her that she is a psychologist and she refuses to accept this is psychosomatic.
“What a joke!” she declares, storming out.

Taylor and Ridge return to the cliff house. He thought she would be happier with the news that she’s not dying.

She’s not dismissing Grace’s expertise, but she refuses to accept she’s suffering from a broken heart.
He tells her to get all the second opinions she wants but she should take this as a win.

Taylor refuses to accept her diagnosis. He says it’s a physical thing that started as a mental one and she can’t ignore that.
She thinks that Grace is trivializing things. He repeats that she’s learned she can be fixed.
Taylor says that her life didn’t stop the day he walked out on her. Does he really think that she’s some woman living in the past, pining over him?
It can’t be that.

He reminds her that she can live as long as she faces this head on. She swears him to secrecy and wonders how she ended up her.
Taking her hand, he says she’s not alone. He’ll always be with her and gives her a hug.

In the Forrester office, Steffy and Liam make a deal and then she talks about how great it is to have her mom home.

He says that Kelly talks about Taylor non-stop. It melts Steffy’s heart.

She thinks her mom wants to spend as much time with her grandkids as she can. “She’s hear because she’s dying to be,” she says.
He points out her mom moves around all the time. She senses something is different now. It’s good.

Steffy assumes part of the reason she’s back is something rhyming with fridge. She’ll stay out of it this time.
It’s a bit frustrating watching her parents pick the wrong people.
They talk about all her mom has been through. She’s sure there’s nothing her mom can’t handle. That’s why she’s so good at what she does.
She hopes her mom realizes what she’s been missing and realizes she deserves to have it all.

At Bill’s, he tells Brooke that Katie shut him down “hardcore.” He had to give it a shot but she wasn’t there. She hasn’t made peace with his old behavior.

Brooke guesses “old behavior” means her.
He can’t fault Katie for having her guard up. She can’t trust her heart with him because of them.
CBS
He wishes he could take back what he did an worries Katie will never trust him again.
Brooke believes in second chances and will try talking to her sister for him. He thanks her for seeing the best in him.
He knows that’s not easy.

When she sits down, he asks her about shacking up with Ridge and wonders why they’re not making it official.
She says that’ve already done that so many times. They don’t need paper to prove they love each other.

Bill hopes that’s the case…but Taylor is back in town. He points out they almost got married recently.
Brooke says he’s being preposterous. Bill says she and Ridge haven’t really committed and adds he’s been spending a lot of time with Taylor.
Maybe she should be keeping tabs on him?

“What are you doing here?” confused Liam asks Will in the design office.

“I’ve got a surprise for you,” Ridge tells Taylor.

“I miss you. Yeah, I miss you,” Liam tells Hope.
