Thursday October 10, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Liam tells Hope that he misses her, Brooke accuses Steffy of undermining her relationship, and Taylor urges Ridge to keep her condition a secret.
Wednesday’s Early B&B recap: Hope and Liam discuss their future, while Brooke eavesdrops on Steffy as she talks to Ridge about Taylor.
In the design office, Liam tells Hope that after everything they’ve been through—both the good and the bad—he can’t help but wonder if they experienced it all just to lead separate lives.

She’s unsure where he’s heading with this. He’s surprised he didn’t consider all of this sooner.
They still have a connection. Maybe they just gave up too quickly?
She would have given a lot to hear that years ago. But now…

He asks if she has someone and reminds her she can’t be with Finn.
Liam blurts out that he misses her.
CBS
He wonders what it could have been like for Beth if they’d made different choices. He reminds her of all they dealt with.
Hope asks him just to say what he’s there to say.
“I’m asking if you would ever try again?” he asks. She sighs.
CBS
Seeing she’s thrown, he asks if the good outweighed the bad and they had something special.
She knows they did. He reminds her they are family and friends and can reverse and build something beautiful.
CBS
He goes on about how much their daughter loves it when it’s just the three of them.
He’s sure it was hard on Hope to live with him having a divided heart. She thanks him for admitting that.
But they’ve moved on and she doesn’t want to revisit it.
Crossing his arms, he admits he’s asking too much and will be good.

In the office, Steffy tells Ridge that she knows something is off with her mom and she needs some extra love.
CBS
Brooke eavesdrops on this before interrupting.
Taylor calls Ridge and asks him to stop by.
Announcing that he is going to see his ex, he kisses Brooke and walks out.
CBS
Brooke asks Steffy what’s going on with her mom. Steffy admits she’s worried about her and determined to make sure she stay in LA. They need her.
CBS
Brooke reminds her of how important her relationship with Ridge is and questions her intentions about her parents.
It feels like she is undermining her relationship and Taylor is making all sorts of excuses to hang out with her ex.
CBS
Steffy doesn’t know that she cares about her parents hanging out.
Brooke repeats she needs to respect her relationship. Steffy reminds her that Hope has no respect for her relationship.
CBS
She adds Hope needs a distraction. Brooke says it could be someone like Liam.
Carter arrives in time to hear this.
CBS
He agrees with Steffy that it would be good for Hope to find someone new.
CBS
Carter tells them he needs to focus on HFTF and walks out, staring at the door to the design office.
He walks in and finds weeping Liam hugging Hope.
CBS
Ridge arrives at the cliff house. Taylor tells him she’s having a hard time accepting her new diagnosis.
CBS
They know it’s better than having heart failure but she says it’s still a lot to wrap her head around.
CBS
He suggests she talk to her family about this. She won’t and begs him not to tell anyone.
CBS
Ridge says he will be there for her and puts his hand on her knee.
They look at her pills and she explains that her condition only needs these, not an operation.
She needs to figure out what triggered this. There was no sudden emotional stressor.
CBS
He thinks they need to dig deeper and explains he’s found someone who might be able to help mend her broken heart.
She knows this should have been on her radar. She can’t deny she’s been carrying pain around for years.
Their kids have lives of their own and she doesn’t know where she belongs.
He says she belongs there and gives her a hug.
