Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 17, reveal the return of JJ, who comes back to officiate a wedding that’s bound to be unforgettable.

JJ is set to preside over the marriage of a woman claiming to be his resurrected sister, Abigail, and Chad DiMera, the man she’s still legally married to.

However, this woman, Fauxbigail, knows she isn’t really Abigail. Her plan? Marry Chad quickly, wait for his death, and then inherit his fortune. With the money, she plans to hand it over to Clyde Weston (James Read) in exchange for the safe return of her missing mother.

But there’s a hitch—since Fauxbigail isn’t actually Abigail, the marriage won’t be legal. This flaw in the plan leaves us puzzled, but hey, it’s good to see JJ back in Salem!

Let My Brady Go

Meanwhile, Sarah Horton and Xander Cook are hard at work trying to convince EJ DiMera to release Brady Black  from prison.

Now that they’ve confirmed Brady wasn’t the hit-and-run driver responsible for Sarah’s accident, they’re pleading for his freedom.

However, there’s a complication—Sarah previously lied, claiming she remembered Brady running her over. Now, with her memory clear and pointing to Fiona Cook as the real culprit, EJ is understandably hesitant.

After all, how many times can one change their story before they lose credibility? Sarah’s situation brings to mind the classic cautionary tale of “the boy who cried wolf.”

Hug It Out

With the truth out in the open, Brady also remembers that Fiona was the one responsible for Sarah’s accident. Despite this revelation, the tension between him and Fiona remains unresolved.

And in Salem, no event is truly over until it’s been dissected in endless conversations. Brady believes a heart-to-heart with Fiona is necessary to address their shared past and clear the air.

A Little Help From My Friends

Tate Black is feeling down in the dumps. Not only did Holly Jonas lie to him, yell at him, and then flee to Paris, but his father, Brady, is also in prison.

Fortunately, Tate has a good friend in Sophia, who is there to lift his spirits. Sophia has long believed she’s a better match for Tate than Holly, and now, with Holly out of the picture, Sophia sees an opportunity to prove it.

As the drama unfolds in Salem, the stakes are high, with relationships being tested, secrets unraveling, and loyalties shifting. Stay tuned for more twists and turns!
