The fallout from Heather Stevens’ death is set to explode on The Young and the Restless. While her family mourns, Sharon Newman will be overwhelmed with guilt.

Sharon went to Heather and Daniel Romalotti’s penthouse that night with the intention of poisoning a liquor bottle. However, she had a change of heart and disposed of the poisoned liquor instead.

However, when she tried to sneak out, Heather arrived home and caught her. The two women argued and scuffled when Sharon tried to escape. Sharon pushed Heather to the ground before blacking out herself. When Sharon came to, she realized Heather was dead and quickly covered her tracks by dumping Heather’s body in the river.

But she didn’t do a good job because Heather’s body has been discovered, which raises more questions.

More Twists Coming In Heather’s Murder

It won’t take long for everybody to start suspecting Sharon. After all, she’s been behaving erratically towards Heather and Daniel. Sharon is very angry toward Daniel because she still blames him for Cassie Newman’s death. Then when Lucy Romalotti and Faith Newman were in a car accident, her animosity toward the family intensified.

Sharon is trying to remain calm, but slowly, she’ll start to crack as guilt overcomes her. It looks like the Crimson Lights owner should brace for life in prison.

But according to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Sharon might not be guilty.

There are a few more twists to Heather’s murder, and one of them is that Sharon didn’t kill her. Before Sharon passed out, Heather was alive and awake because she screamed at Sharon. During the blackout, someone could’ve snuck into the penthouse to murder Heather.

And the murderer might be someone close to the Romalottis.

Lucy is Responsible for Her Mother’s Death

Heather’s killer will be someone people least expect, and Lucy murdering her mom would be a huge twist.

The teen has been acting obsessively toward Faith in recent months. Despite Faith saying they shouldn’t be friends, Lucy isn’t taking no for an answer.

Also, Lucy was upset when Heather and Daniel discussed moving back to Portugal.

On the night of Heather’s death, Lucy was out with Daniel. But the teen could’ve easily snuck back to the penthouse while her dad was preoccupied. Upon arrival, Lucy found Sharon unconscious while Heather was okay.

After explaining what happened, Heather threatened to call the police on Sharon, then suggested they leave Genoa City for Portugal.

This could’ve enraged Lucy because her mom’s actions would mean the end of her friendship with Faith. The mother and daughter argued, and in the heat of the moment, Lucy accidentally killed Heather.

Shocked by what she did, Lucy left and returned to Daniel as if nothing happened.

While this idea seems far-fetched, let’s not forget that Lucy’s grandmothers are Phyllis Summers and Sheila Carter; two of The Young and the Restless’ famous villains.

Lucy has been showing signs she might have inherited Phyllis and Sheila’s crazy genes. If she has a temper like her grandmothers, then she acts on impulse, which means trouble and possible tragedy for others.

Do you think it’s possible Lucy killed Heather?
