In the heart of a sprawling landfill, a small puppy was left to fend for himself, abandoned and scared by his owners. He was covered in scaly skin and matted fur, surviving on the stinking food scraps among the garbage. Days turned into weeks, and the puppy grew lonelier and sadder, desperately in need of a friend.
One day, a team of animal rescuers came to the landfill searching for animals in need of help and a new home. As they made their way through the mountains of trash, they heard a faint whimpering sound and followed it to find the little puppy huddled under a pile of garbage.
