On February 17, 2023, a call came in about a weak puppy that needed urgent help. Our team member Natasha rushed to the location and found a severely dehydrated puppy who could barely move. It appeared that he had been abandoned and left to starve on the streets.

Without hesitation, we took Sunny to the vet and he was given the necessary medications. Thankfully, he tested negative for parvo or distemper, but he would need saline to recover.

After 24 hours, Sunny started showing signs of improvement. His appetite remained good, and he was able to eat on his own. He also started to gain weight and was able to walk again. We spoke to him to calm him down and make him feel loved.

As the days passed, Sunny began to follow us around, as if we were his new family. It felt like fate that he had come into our lives.

We were determined to give him the love and care he deserved and find him a forever home where he would never have to suffer again.
