Aisha’s Journey: Overcoming Pain and Sadness to Find Hope Again

On November 6th, 2020, a heartbreaking photo of a mother dog and her puppies was reported to Jetiba’s police in Brazil. When they arrived at the scene, they found a large female dog left alone in a dirty backyard, with no food or water. Her appearance suggested that she had recently given birth, but her puppies were nowhere to be found. After questioning the owner, they discovered that the puppies had been sold for profit.

The mother dog, named Aisha, was suffering from craniocerebral trauma and was in a lot of pain. She couldn’t stand up or eat properly and was filled with sadness. After undergoing daily medical treatment and physical therapy, Aisha gradually regained her strength and regained her movement. However, she was still dependent on feeding and assistance to go to the bathroom.

Despite the long and difficult treatment process, Aisha’s condition improved significantly with the help of acupuncture and weekly physical therapy sessions. She even gained 5kg after 2 months of being in a shelter, but she still couldn’t walk on her own.

That’s when Aisha’s story went viral, and she received a wheelchair to help her get around. With her new tool, Aisha slowly but surely began to take steps on her own, gaining confidence every day. Five months after being rescued, Aisha has come a long way on her journey to recovery. She is still receiving regular medical treatment and therapy, but she has also gained a new lease on life.

Aisha’s story is one of perseverance, resilience, and the power of love and compassion to transform lives. Despite the pain and sadness she endured, Aisha has found hope and a new family who will love and care for her for the rest of her life.
