Tuzik’s Journey: From Paralyzed Puppy to Resilient Fighter
One night, a couple with children brought a carton and left it in front of a gate. Upon hearing a dog barking, they quickly abandoned the carton with a paralyzed puppy inside and fled. The puppy had a blood-stained body, and it was clear that he had been abused. They had thrown away their responsibility and left the poor animal to die.
Thankfully, the puppy was found in time and taken to a veterinarian for immediate care. He was named Tuzik and found to be completely paralyzed by the doctor, who determined that he had been born this way. Sadly, the puppy had also experienced abuse recently and was malnourished and exhausted. Despite this, the most important thing was to help Tuzik.
Tuzik was taken to a clinic, where he received constant treatment from physiotherapists. He was also severely traumatized and needed the help of a psychiatrist. Tuzik’s journey was challenging, but he showed great resilience and made slow progress.
Although Tuzik was still in a lot of pain, his efforts were significant, and he slowly began to improve. He remained happy despite his challenges, and his tail wagged constantly. In time, Tuzik will walk again and even run with his very own feet!
Svetlana Mischenko was a guardian angel who rescued Tuzik and provided him with a second chance at life. Tuzik is an intelligent and loving young pup, and his journey from a paralyzed puppy to a fighter is truly remarkable.
