On August 12th, we received a call about a chained and emaciated dog. We found him just bone and skin, unable to move due to the chain. His owner, who admitted to buying him for $30 as a trendy breed, offered to sell him to us for the same price. After a heated discussion, a kind girl paid the owner and we took the dog, named Alan, to the vet.

Alan was severely malnourished with extreme low blood sugar, but after a night of treatment and insulin injections, he was allowed to return home.

Over the next few days, Alan slowly regained his strength and began to stand up and play. He was a sweet and friendly dog who quickly made friends with the other dogs in our care.

Alan’s rescue was a reminder of the horrors of neglect and the importance of taking action. We were grateful to have been able to provide him with the love and care he deserved.
