Peaches, like all puppies, was born with innocent love and an adorable appearance. However, she was deprived of the simple pleasures of childhood when she contracted mange, a terrible disease that made her life unbearable. Millions of mites crawling all over her skin caused her to bleed, lose hair, and itch constantly. Peaches was in dire need of help.
When the rescuers found Peaches, her skin was inflamed and on fire, but she gently laid down in their car. After meeting with renowned veterinarians, they contacted Kannan Animal Welfare (KAW), who agreed to take Peaches in and provide her with daily topical treatments. Under their care, Peaches blossomed into a beautiful dog with velvety fur.
