Two men came yesterday.
They opened the door. I wasn’t afraid. I felt they wanted to help. I’ve been waiting for the Lady for so long… But she didn’t come… They talked to her for a long time, they weren’t happy… Anyway… I don’t care anymore. My world collapsed a few months ago anyway, and my heart broke when she locked me in that dark cell permanently. There was no food, no bath. There was no help. Only screams and insults. Sometimes some leftovers in a small bowl. And the bad people out there at the door.
Glad my friend was with me. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go together. He was not in such a bad condition, the Lord said that there was no more room in temporary homes… A house – will we ever have it again… He instructed the Lady, talked about duties and penalties. Here, where I am, I overheard that she was with him at the vet… Maybe he will change…
Such people do not change. And this story is not a fairy tale with a moral, but the gray, Polish reality of a backward village and one of the people who, earning extra euros abroad, forgets what feelings are. He forgets how to be human. Wojcieszów – this is where the tragedy took place.
The received dog is in a tragic condition – a few months ago he was beaten, and then he was thrown into a cupboard without light. The dog has a broken spine, conjunctivitis, is emaciated and dehydrated. Before the visit to the vet, he was crawling with fleas and other vermin.
