The Wednesday, November 8th episode of ‘Days of Our Lives’ is set to be eventful, as John Black and Marlena Evans find reasons to rejoice.
At the same time, Maggie Kiriakis will prompt a nostalgic journey, and the conflict involving Xarah escalates. Here are the essential updates.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers For Wednesday, November 8: Celebration
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ reveal a wedding isn’t the only thing to celebrate at the Black/Evans household.
Teasers say It’s John and Marlena’s wedding anniversary.
We’re likely to see some flashbacks, and the romance between them will be a nice contrast to the rest of what’s in store in Salem.
They’ll be even more reflective and appreciative this year because of everything that Marlena and the others went through because of Megan DiMera.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers For Wednesday, November 8: Memories
Speaking of reflecting, Maggie recalls her life with Victor Kiriakis.
All this nostalgia will be fitting, as the show is celebrating its own anniversary on Wednesday, November 8.
There’s bound to be a lot more flashbacks to mark the occasion, and we can’t get enough of seeing these characters in their younger days.
It’s great to see a show with such a long history make use of it in this way, and it gives us new fans some more insight into these characters and what drives them.
We’re just hoping a certain Greek visitor stays out of Maggie’s way, because we think she deserves to have this moment for herself without the subtext of future trouble overshadowing the memories.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers For Wednesday, November 8: It’s war
Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ reveal this town just can’t have nice things.
And sometimes the characters are their own worst enemies.
Sarah Horton was already out for blood when she learned Xander Cook wants full custody of their daughter, even though he clearly made that move before they’d talked things out.
Now, the custody battle will get more intense.
Right now, we believe both are too hurt and stubborn to take a step back and think this through calmly.
So, each one is going to be throwing accusations and doing their best to show how horrible the other is.
We would not be surprised, too, if there is an actual encounter between the two where more misunderstandings/lack of perspective will get in the way of resolving things peacefully.
Which would be best for all involved. If they get too ugly with each other, there’s a chance neither one will be seen as fit.
