Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of Monday, January 1 to Friday, January 5 hint at a New Year’s celebration in Salem that will have a mix of events.
These moments will also trigger a series of consequences that will unfold throughout 2024. Here’s the scoop.
Good start
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal things will get off to a promising start.
The weekly promo shows multiple couples enjoying a New Years’ kiss. First being John Black and Marlena Evans.
Nicole Walker and EJ DiMera will also ring in the year with a traditional kiss.
So will Alex Kiriakis and Theresa Donovan. They’d better enjoy this moment while it lasts because things are about to get real. More on that in a minute.
Night in
As for others, Paulina Price and Abe Carver will also welcome the new year together.
In the promo, he apologizes for the previous night. We assume this means not being around when Paulina was at the hospital.
There will definitely be a cloud hanging over their night, and we hope this whole story with Paulina is resolved as quickly and favorably as possible.

Second time around?
Also, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Chanel DuPree and Johnny DiMera will have a romantic night together.
However, it might start off a little rough, as Chanel wonders why she’s nervous.
Johnny tells her there is no reason to be nervous around him. We wonder if she’s sensing something.
That Day of Days preview showed him proposing, so it’s likely this is that moment.
Hopefully, she’ll say “yes,” because they’re good together.
And they’d likely still be married anyway had Johnny not been possessed. We think this would be a great thing for both her and Paulina. Something positive to look forward to.
Huge problems
Finally, Tate obviously called out for help or went inside to get it after discovering Holly in the alley.
He obviously finds the bag of pills on her, which he’ll show to Brady. Unfortunately, the police are already on the scene and one will see this and demand the bag.
Looks like he’ll be blamed, as he was shown being arrested in the Day of Days promo.
This is going to rock a large part of the town, and we really hope Tate is able to prove his innocence here.
