However, it seems Stefan DiMera and Ava Vitali will also encounter problems.

Big trouble
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Tate could face the wrath of EJ DiMera. We figured as much was coming, given Holly Jonas is now his stepdaughter.
On January 2nd, EJ will make it clear he’s determined to make Tate pay for Holly’s overdose.
It’s understandable he’d be so protective with Nicole Walker just barely healing from the loss of the baby.
But we have a feeling he’ll be in for a serious humbling moment in the future when the truth of Holly’s drug use comes out.
Making it worse?
In related news, Ava and Stefan had a rough night when Harris Michaels came around asking questions after Holly’s OD.
Now, Clyde Weston’s apparently going to make things so much better.
He’ll issue an order that will have Ava and Stefan challenged.
This will likely make Stefan more determined than ever to get rid of him, but we’re not sure how he’ll get it done when no one seems to want to support him in that.
But maybe a moment later in the episode will change that. See, Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ has a confrontation with Stefan.
Obviously, EJ will suspect the drugs Holly OD’d on were provided by Clyde’s operation and he’ll probably want to hold Stefan responsible as well.
Actually, we wouldn’t be surprised if he threatens to report what he knows. He doesn’t care about Gabi DiMera or Ava.
We’re curious to see how Stefan will handle this confrontation and if this will be what might get EJ to help take Clyde down.
Questions
Finally, Ava will have another problem to deal with. It seems Tripp demands to know whether Ava is involved in the drug trade.
It makes sense he’d have questions, given the OD happened outside of the Bistro.
And it’s not like there haven’t been some problems since Ava took this new job.
And if Tripp found out a tip led to Harris visiting the Bistro before, that’s even more reason to wonder.
