Whatever the truth of their recollections, Tucker’s behavior was clearly unacceptable, especially in light of Ashley’s earnest efforts to put her family first.
Tucker should have prioritized his love for Ashley over their imagined empire if he truly believed Ashley to be his true love. It’s possible that Tucker and Ashley have different accounts of the Paris explosion, and that the truth falls somewhere in the middle.
In the end, viewers might have to determine for themselves whether side of this complex and turbulent story is more important.
