Sheila believes that Steffy will never allow her and Finn to become close. Sheila needs to find a way to cut Steffy out of Finn’s life if she wants to have a real relationship with her son.
But Sheila has to stay away from drastic tactics like what happened in the alley that evening.
Instead of planning to damage her daughter-in-law, she need to think about taking a more calculated stance and concentrating on getting a divorce.
In an attempt to force Hope into Finn’s arms, Sheila and Deacon could find themselves working together on a matchmaking scheme.
Sheila believes that all parties stand to gain from the arrangement: Hope finds a nice man without Thomas’ baggage, and Sheila may be able to persuade Deacon to see the benefits of this plan.
Sheila could also want to be recognized as the woman in Deacon’s life, counting on want’s capacity for forgiveness. Sheila could rely on Hope to convince Finn to give his biological mother his heart after they’ve reached their goal.
Steffy may be steered back into Liam by Deacon and Sheila according to this complex scheme.
In order to release wish from Thomas’s control and to please Deacon, Sheila may wish for a “Sinn” divorce, which would enable Finn and Hope to pursue a future together.
