Jack lends his support to Nikki
Although the Newmans are rallying around Nikki, she also needs support from friends. Lauren has been a big help, and Jack has also stepped in.
Jack has always remained close to his ex-wife, and upon learning of Nikki’s condition, he rushed to her side. Nikki’s been able to confide in Jack and tell him stuff she was afraid to tell Victor.
As Nikki leans more on Jack, it’s going to spark suspicions. According to Soaps.com, The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack’s wife Diane becomes worried about him and Nikki.
Diane and Nikki have a longstanding rivalry that goes back to when Diane was married to Victor. If Diane believes Nikki’s trying to interfere in her and Jack’s marriage, it’ll ignite another round in their feud.
Diane’s jealousy impacts Nikki’s drinking
Since her miraculous return, Diane has been on her best behavior. The former vixen has become a good girl and has snagged the man of her dreams. Yet, Diane’s world as Mrs. Jack Abbott could come crashing down.
Jack’s a good guy and he’ll do anything to help anybody. He knows what it’s like going through addiction, so he needs to be there for Nikki. Yet, his noble gesture isn’t winning any favors with Diane.
Diane feels like Jack is slipping away the more time he spends with Nikki. A part of Diane might wonder if Jack is falling for his ex.
Nikki stealing another husband from her will trigger the return of Diane’s bad side. Diane will confront Nikki and warn her to stay away from Jack.
Nikki’s been able to hold her own against Diane in the past, but she’s at the moment she’s emotional.
Although Nikki tries to ignore Diane, her rival knows how to push her buttons. Diane’s confrontation could have Nikki reaching for the bottle.
