The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, February 5, suggest that Chelsea Lawson gains reassurance regarding Connor Newman’s schooling after discussing his learning differences with the guidance counselor.
When Chelsea updates Adam Newman at Society, he’ll lose his temper and act like Chelsea’s trying to make all the decisions.
Adam will want to visit Connor ASAP, but it’ll be Chelsea’s turn to blow her top then.
Chelsea will angrily explain that this is what’s best for Connor, so Adam will see that it’s not a good idea to act like this is a big deal and embarrass Connor with more attention.
Instead, Adam will agree to wait until parents’ weekend and will help Chelsea reassure Connor through a positive phone call.
After Sharon Newman meets with Devon Hamilton-Winters and Nate Hastings to lay the groundwork for Cassidy First Technology and Chancellor-Winters’ new deal, she’ll mention the meeting to Billy Abbott later.
That’ll tip Billy off to the fact that he wasn’t invited, so he’ll stew over it and leave Sharon concerned over things turning contentious at the company.
It’ll leave Sharon a tad wary of a partnership if there’s going to be clashing, but Billy will keep his cool despite his irritation and act like it’s fine.
Meanwhile, Devon will do a good job of ignoring Tucker McCall at the GCAC, but Nate won’t be as successful at ignoring Audra Charles.
Devon will address the temptation Nate’s had in the past to push things too far – like he did with Victoria Newman and could do again with Audra if he gets sucked in.
Nate will reassure Devon before they head back to the office, where Billy will object to being excluded from the meeting with Sharon earlier.
After Devon makes excuses, he’ll point out that it’s not like they signed anything.
Billy will argue that they couldn’t make the deal without him and will hope to avoid any other scheduling problems like this in the future.
Once Billy hints about Tucker being a lingering threat, Nate will privately ask Devon if he thinks that’s true.
Although Nate will think Tucker’s too focused on damage control at Glissade to worry about Chancellor-Winters, Devon will know better than to underestimate him.
Once Billy heads to Society, he’ll be shocked to find Adam and Chelsea on the same page – though they’ll admit they both lost their tempers on the way to that cooperation.
Adam will act like Chelsea set him straight and will hint about Billy being a lucky guy, so Bill will confirm that he knows it.
At the athletic club again, Audra and Tucker will discuss their trust issues, but Tucker will think it adds to the excitement of it all.
Audra will acknowledge that Tucker thinks she has an agenda, but he’ll urge her not to tell him what it is and just let him figure it out.
Tucker will insist he meant what he said about choosing Audra, but she’ll grow impatient over the lack of details regarding his plans for Glissade and how she fits in.
Once Tucker offers reassurance, The Young and the Restless spoilers say he’ll instigate another make-out session with her in his suite.
At the café in Paris, Ashley Abbott will be stuck on the idea that she’s right and Tucker’s wrong about what happened there.
However, Ashley will flash back to Tucker’s side of the story before once again deciding she can’t let him get inside her head.
Traci Abbott won’t think they’re going to get any further answers in Paris, so she’ll suggest they should just fly back to Genoa City.
Although Ashley will be eager to get away from all the bad energy, she won’t be prepared to leave yet.
Ashley will urge Traci to return to GC on her own and just let her work through all this with a Paris friend.
