It’s easy to imagine Nick getting on a dating app eventually, so maybe his attempt to find a new woman will be a total flop.
Nick might have some awkward dates and hookups, but he could quickly realize this isn’t the way to meet the woman of his dreams.
Perhaps the woman Nick’s meant to be with has been right under his nose all along.
A dating app disaster would be an excellent way to show Nick what else is out there and make him see that his connection with Sharon Newman can’t be beat.
The Young and the Restless fans know Sharon and Nick have a powerful romantic history – one that could bring them back together for a new beginning sooner rather than later.
Sharon might even have a disastrous dating app experience of her own that pushes her back in Nick’s romantic direction.
Nick and Sharon are still close friends at this point, but they could be so much more if they could just get on the same page about giving their relationship one more chance.
It may take some time and effort to get there, but The Young and the Restless writers have seemingly been planting the seeds of a Sharon and Nick reunion.
Let’s hope that pans out and leads to “Shick” getting a happy ending down the road.
