Y&R casting updates put Lily back in Genoa City soon. Christel was out on maternity leave, so the character of Lily left town for a while to take care of her daughter.
But, she’s coming home soon. And when she returns, she’s in for an awful surprise.
In fact, it might be her brother, Devon who tells her she needs to come home. He knows Lily’s boyfriend, Daniel, cheated on her with Heather.
What’s more, is he wants to rebuild his relationship with Heather on Young and the Restless. And be a family again with their daughter, Lucy. But, he doesn’t want to hurt Lily, so he’s waiting for the right time to tell her.
However, Devon is running out of patience with Daniel. So, he could very well tell his sister himself. Or convince her to return home, so Daniel must tell her.
Of course, she’s going to be crushed. Not just because Daniel wants Heather back but because he cheated. And it’s all going to blow up soon.

Once Lily comes home and learns that she’s been betrayed, it makes us wonder if Daniel will get out of town. He might take Heather and Lucy and start over somewhere else on Young and the Restless.
Indeed, it would be the least they could do to leave and not rub her face in their rekindled romance.
She doesn’t need to see them all over town living their best life together. So, as Lily returns, Daniel, Lucy, and Heather may all take off.
