The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate Adam Newman plans to challenge Victor Newman’s recent decision, a move that could come with significant risks.
After hearing Adam’s pitch, Victor was adamant about not working with Sally Spectra professionally – not now, not ever!
Now Nick Newman is stuck in the middle since he can see the potential for disaster.
Nick warned Adam not to fight their father on this, but Adam suspects this is just another one of Victor’s tests.
Adam feels like he just has to prove how badly he wants this design division for Sally.
Since Adam isn’t budging, Nick took another approach in The Young and the Restless’s February 22 episode and urged Victor to give Adam his way to keep the peace.
Although Victor seemed a bit more open to the idea of hiring Sally, he made it clear that business is business.
Victor obviously doesn’t have a lot of faith in Sally, so more trouble could be brewing.
Even if Victor surrenders to giving Sally this design division, what’s to stop him from reneging again?
Victor has proven that he can turn on a dime in situations like this, so Chloe Mitchell may be right to worry about Victor getting their hopes up just to dash them.
Victor isn’t going to like it if Adam does anything shady to make this agreement happen.
There’s the potential for Victor to strike back if tension erupts with Adam once more.
Adam will hold out hope that all parties involved will come around on making a deal, but there no guarantees until contracts are signed.
We can think of another deal that Victor might make instead – one that could serve as a move to spite Adam and even Sally herself.
Summer Newman has been running things at Marchetti for quite some time, which is surprising considering how much this show loves to play corporate musical chairs.
Everyone else seems to change jobs constantly, so why not Summer?
Maybe Summer should head over to her own family business instead of staying at her ex-husband’s family business instead.
Everything under the Jabot umbrella is in Abbott country, so Summer might eventually want to distance herself from Kyle Abbott’s world – especially as she grows closer to Chance Chancellor.
Chance has found happiness in his family’s company, so could that inspire a big career move for Summer, too?
Summer might find herself tempted to accept a new role at Newman Enterprises if Victor makes a good enough offer.
It’d be interesting if Victor decided to move forward with the design division and then put Summer in charge of it!
Summer has a similar background to Sally since she’s been overseeing everything at Marchetti, which includes major fashion lines and a home division as well.
This could be Victor’s opportunity to get Summer back in the family fold and stick it to Adam and Sally in the process.
