Liam may use a tried-and-true tactic to cause the marriage between Finn and Steffy to fail.
Fans of B&B may remember the incident in which Liam surreptitiously recorded Finn embracing Sheila and then hurried to Steffy to present proof of their relationship.
The next time, perhaps Liam could spy on Finn during a different kind of close encounter. Hope has already been used by Finn as a confidant, and this pattern will carry over into the upcoming episodes.
Hope will feel a great deal of empathy for Finn as he struggles to come to terms with the fact that Stefy removed Sheila from his life.
Of course, a twist in the future could reveal Sheila’s continued existence through some of her usual antics. But we have to make do with what the characters have already discovered.
From Finn’s point of view, having Hope by his side will be helpful as he navigates a difficult loss.
Finn is more likely to err on the side of caution when it comes to Hope and the more emotional distance he has between himself and Steffy.
Will Finn finally plant a kiss on Hope, or at the very least, share a cuddle-worthy moment with Liam close by? This could be Liam’s chance to record another video that he thinks Steffy would be interested in watching.
Hope’s Role as a Confidant
Liam might want to show Steffy that Finn is not as devoted as she might think and that he should not be held in high regard.
Liam might make matters worse by posting a video of a very private moment between Finn and Hope since Finn and Steffy will already be struggling as a married couple as a result of Sheila’s tragic outcome.
This video angle would be a way to further upend the plot and possibly persuade Steffy to think about moving forward with Liam instead, whether or not there is a kiss involved.
Allowing Thomas to see evidence of Hope and Finn’s bond could potentially blow up a bonus romance for Liam.
If nothing else, Steffy could try to steer Thomas away from the woman he adores and reveal the video news to him.
In the end, there is nothing positive that can result from Finn and Hope getting together, at least not for their individual relationships!
