Happy Holly News
Brady visits Tate at the juvenile rehab facility and delivers the news he’s been waiting to hear. “She’s awake,” reveals Brady.
Tate’s delighted and eager to reach out to her. So he swipes an unattended cellphone, hoping he can use it to call her.
Setting Things Straight
Meanwhile, across town, Nicole probes her daughter about the events that transpired on New Year’s Eve, leading to a tragic overdose.
“Tate’s the one that gave you the drugs,” proposes Nicole.
But Holly promptly stops her mother in her tracks. “He didn’t,” she insists. The information leaves Nicole shocked.
Taking A Stand
As the drug trafficking in Salem continues to spiral out of control, some hard decisions have to be made. “We have got a prison to break into,” announces John.
Later, the lights flicker at Statesville. Clyde, who’s alone in his cell, springs up from his cot.
Then John and Steve suddenly appear inside the facility.
Fading Away
With her family by her side, Paulina’s condition continues to deteriorate, and she’s painfully aware of it. “I’m slipping away,” she mutters.
Lani can’t bear the thought of losing her mother. “My babies are going to grow up without their grandmother,” bemoans a teary-eyed Lani.
Chanel and Lani embrace and try to comfort each other. Meanwhile, Abe breaks down in tears over Paulina’s bedside.
Final Vows
Things take a deadly turn for the kidnapped Tripp and Wendy, when Tripp looks up and notices something dire.
“The vents are closed,” he tells Wendy, referring to the pair’s only source of air. “We’re going to die,” cries out Wendy as she and Tripp embrace.
Before the couple take their last breath, Tripp comes up with an idea to assuage Wendy. “Marry me.
Right now,” proposes Tripp. The duo holds hands and exchanges vows. Just as she’s about to lose consciousness, Wendy mutters, “I do.”
Is the end for the newly wed young lovers?
