We have to believe there’s more to come from Sheila, so it’s possible she faked her demise.
If Steffy actually took down a lookalike at the cliff house, then that could pave the way for Sheila to make a shocking comeback.
Of course, a ruse like that would allow Sheila to commit some other crimes without anyone suspecting it was her – at least at first.
What if Hayes mysteriously vanishes from the cliff house at some point?
Now that everyone assumes Sheila’s threat is gone permanently, it might be even easier for her to get to Hayes.
Sheila could kidnap her grandson and make a quick getaway before Steffy and Finn ever realize he’s gone.
It’d be simple for Sheila to knock out the nanny and bolt with Hayes or even just slip in his room undetected and swipe him.
Whatever the case, Finn and Steffy could end up in panic mode if Hayes goes missing.
It would bring plenty of questions about who took Hayes and why.
Would Steffy and Finn eventually realize Sheila’s capable of faking her own grim fate?
Could it lead to suspicions that Sheila isn’t as much of a goner as she previously seemed?
